It's important to understand that not every EV will fit your life. That might sound obvious, clearly a 2-seater roadster isn't going to work as the only car for a family of 5. That's not what we're talking about, though. With EVs, there are extra considerations you must make before you get to any of the traditional questions about performance, safety, utility, etc.

There are a number of reasons why a particular EV might not fit your life. Things like not having enough real-world range to get through your routines, not being compatible with the chargers most convenient for you, not having enough charge speed to keep up with your schedule, and more.

We're going to cover all of this in more detail, but for now what we'd like you to know is that there are new set of initial questions you have to ask before knowing if an EV will be right for you.
