Jaguar Will Adopt Tesla's North American Charging Standard

Deal will give Jaguar drivers access to over 12,000 Tesla Supercharger locations in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Jaguar has announced a deal with Tesla to adopt the North American Charging Standard (NACS), granting access to over 12,000 Tesla Superchargers in North America.

Beginning in 2025, new Jaguar vehicles will be offered with the NACS connector built-in. Current Jaguar i-Pace drivers will be able to access Tesla's network using an adapter that Jaguar will source from Tesla. No word yet on when these adapters will be available.

Jaguar says that they are being "radically reimagined as an all-electric modern luxury brand", and that the ease of use and reliability of the Tesla charging ecosystem is important to their all-EV strategy.

Jaguar is the latest in a growing list of manufacturers that have now committed to the Tesla NACS. That list now includes:

  • Tesla
  • Ford
  • GM
  • Rivian
  • Lucid
  • Polestar
  • Volvo
  • Mercedes Benz
  • Honda
  • Acura
  • Nissan
  • Fisker
  • Jaguar
